Dain Blanton
An American beach volleyball player who won the Gold Medal for the US in Beach Volleyball in the 2000 Olympic Games, Dain is the first African American to win a Major Pro Beach Volleyball event (1997 AVP Hermosa Beach Grand Slam). Mr. Blanton also served as the first two-time U.S. male Beach Volleyball Olympian (2000/2004).
Currently an analyst for ESPN’s coverage of women’s NCAA volleyball as well as the analyst for Professional Beach Volleyball worldwide (AVP/FIVB), Dain worked in the NBA as the Sideline Reporter for the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers for five seasons. His career in Sports Broadcasting has involved working with many major networks including ESPN, NBC, ABC, FOX Sports and The Olympic Channel. He has a passion for motivating, mentoring and professional development.
